These free printable unicorn headbands come in eight different varieties! Two different versions print in black and white and are ready for your little artists to color themselves. Six more variations are available in pretty pastels and ready to print in full color! Take your pick!
Printable unicorn headband….
No matter which version of headband you choose to print you’ll want to print these on card stock if you’ve got it! Card stock will make these headbands a bit sturdier. Your kiddos will want to wear these for more than one afternoon of play!
Color your own unicorn headband….
I drew two different unicorn headbands for you that print in plain black and white. If you read the Kitchen Table Classroom often you know I am a huge proponent of adding bits of creativity to your kiddo’s day whenever you can. Some days that might mean open ended art opportunities or even an art history lesson. Other days might be a simple craft like this unicorn printable! Crafts count!
Crafts like this one are great for practicing fine motor skills. They also get kids used to making creative decisions and provide a great prompt for more creative play when the making is done!
Add color to your unicorn printable…
Let your kiddos add color any way they choose! An easy solution would be to create a station with washable markers and crayons.
Don’t limit your young artists . Ask them what else they can imagine using to add color. Kids have the best ideas! My kids mentioned using tissue paper, glitter glue, glitter, and watercolor paints to decorate these unicorn headbands! Just have fun!
Making your unicorn headband….
As of now these headbands are flat. In order to pop them into a three dimensional “headband” shape you’ll need to add an additional strip of card stock.
Cut a strip of card stock. Glue or staple it to one side of the unicorn headband. Do a quick measure and cut to fit your child’s head before stapling the second side. Easy!
Full color printable unicorn headbands…
I had so much fun making these unicorn printables. In addition to the black and white “color your own” version of these headbands I made six full color, ready to print versions. These pastel unicorn headbands are so sweet and ready to add a little creative play to any birthday party or celebration!
They pop together just like the color your own headbands above. You’ll just need to add an additional piece of card stock and cut to fit!
