Handwritten thank you notes are still a thing, right? These free printable thank you cards will make writing thank you cards an easy habit for your kids! These thank you card templates mean your kiddos can write and draw as much as appropriate and get their sweet message across without it feeling like a chore!
Do your kids write thank you notes….
Despite my kids insistence that a thank you “text” is basically the same thing I’d like to think that handwritten thank you’s are alive and well. And, I’d love to tell you that I get a note written and in the mail every time one is deserved.
While I may think about those things in the middle of the night at 2 am, they often get pushed aside during the busy daylight hours. I have good intentions but less than awesome follow through. Despite my totally mediocre thank you card writing record it is a habit I want to instill in my kids. Writing kind words to people counts. Telling people that you appreciate them counts.
Thank you card templates make writing manageable….
My daughter has had her own address book since she was six. She is ten now and has been regularly writing and addressing her own letters for ages. I borrow her stamps and ask for addresses. Connecting with people through the written word is one of her gifts.
Then you have my other three who would do literally anything to get out of writing a thank you card. They do not see the specialness or necessity of expressing themselves that way. I get,it, I really do. But, expressing gratitude through writing is a practice that can’t hurt and has the amazing capacity to bless.
These free printable thank you card templates give your kiddo the chance to express their gratitude without the fear of their writing hand falling off. No “writing fatigue” excuses will fly because there is a printable thank you card for every level. Two printable “fold over” thank you card templates as well as three options for full page printable thank you notes mean there is an option for everyone!
Even kids that can only handle a few words at a time can take part with these printable thank you cards for kids! Kids that are more adept writers can write more or even add in pictures!
