These sweet turkey headbands print on two pages and come together quickly for a quick and easy Thanksgiving craft!
Turkey headband supplies….
This Thanksgiving craft prints on two pieces of standard 8.5 x 11 paper. If you have card stock use it now! Because of it’s slightly heavier weight card stock allows the turkey and feathers to stand up really nicely. If no card stock is available or you’re doing this with a large group and it’s cost prohibitive you can absolutely use standard weight copy paper. Your turkeys just won’t be quite as sturdy!
Add color to these turkeys in any way you’d like. Washable markers, watercolor paints, or crayons are all fun and easy ways to add a splash of color! I just ordered this box of Crayola markers with 40 different colors! Projects like this one are so fun when you have such a variety of colors to choose from!

Cut and color….
If you’re working with little people I suggest printing this turkey craft and giving it to them to add color while the pages are whole. Coloring on shapes that are already cut out can cause frustration as they’re constantly going on and off the edge of the shape- resulting in wrinkles and tears. Color first, cut second for the sake of the little people!
Forming the headband….
This headband starts as two pieces. The colorful sides of both pieces should be facing forward. Roughly measure round your kiddos head and attach with couple pieces of transparent tape. Cut off any extra bits if headband as needed!
