Color is such a fun element to of art to explore with kids.  Understanding the relationships between colors is a great building block for kids as they are making their own artwork and learning to talk about and understand the artwork of others.

This digital art activity covers concepts such as the definition of color, ROYGBIV, primary, secondary, and tertiary colors, value, warm and cool colors, and complementary colors. There are a LOT of color concepts packed into these fun slides!

The activity on some slides may be as simple as unscrambling a word.  Others ask your students to group colors according to being warm or cool, match complements, or put colors in rainbow order.
