What is a bucket list?

Traditionally a “bucket list” is a list of things a person hopes to experience in their lifetime.

This bucket list template is meant to inspire a slightly more light hearted version of a bucket list. These examples of bucket lists could focus on what your kiddos might want to do over the a season, a school break, or the course of a whole year.

Free printable bucket list examples include an art bucket list as well as a blank bucket list ready for your kids to fill in and color!

Why do you need a bucket list template….

What purpose do these bucket list examples serve? Dreaming is fun. Planning is fun. Thinking about the future is fun!

Honestly it doesn’t matter if your bucket list uses one of these fun free bucket list templates or it’s written on the back of a napkin. The intention is the same! A bucket list is about being intentional about things you’d like to experience and incorporating those things into daily life.

That is, for sure, a concept I’d like my kids to soak in. Do things you enjoy everyday. Plan for it!

I love the idea of encouraging a mix of both grand ideas and smaller, more easily accomplishable adventures.

Create your own art bucket list with this bucket list example and blank bucket list template!

An art bucket list example….

I included two bucket list templates, one is more generic and the other is an art bucket list. These are both blank or your own kids to write, draw, and color on.

Of course that “art” wish list is close to my heart. Encourage your kids to get in the habit of making something of their own choosing. Being creative doesn’t require a class or a lesson plan.

I also included an art bucket list example with some very open ended creative ideas that are easy for kids of any age to engage in. I hope this bucket list example is something you might consider sharing with your kids at the end of the year or a class so to encourage them to keep being creative and keep making!
