A simple Easter egg template….

Sometimes simple is better. Simple means more room to interpret thing your way.

These Easter egg printables are super simple and so cute.  They come in two sizes, large and small, plus a few different variations so you’re sure to find one that works for your little people!  There are three Easter egg printables with patterns plus one with “bunny ears” that are perfect for coloring and cutting practice.

Adding a little creativity to your day doesn’t have to be hard.  Grab some crayons or markers and settle in!

Easter egg patterns…

Also included are large and small versions of the blank Easter egg template.  This one is my favorite.  It’s the perfect blank canvas for practicing creating all kinds of patterns!

On the example below we’ve made patterns with a permanent black marker and then added color with my favorite “paint with markers” method.  Just add bits of color here and there using  washable markers.  Add a bit of water using a soft brush and watch the color liquify and spread like paint!

I love this method because it doesn’t require a super amount of neatness.  Leaving a little white space is actually desirable in this case.  It’s just a fun and quick method to a bit of color with very little fuss or mess.  I also use this marker method in this pine tree drawing tutorial and this flower directed drawing.
