These Nutcracker ornaments are the ultimate in low prep Christmas crafts. Four original Nutcracker characters print to a page of 8.5 x 11 card stock.
The only materials you’ll need, besides the printable ornaments, is a way to add color, scissors, a hole punch, and some ribbon!
Color you ornaments…
Ornaments will print four to a page. It may be easier for students to add color to their Nutcracker before they are cut apart. But, if needed they can be cut apart so that each student gets just one Nutcracker to color.
Add color any way you choose. Markers or crayons are a mess free way to add vibrant color!
Assemble your Nutcracker ornaments….
Once your students have decorate their Nutcracker ornaments it’s time to assemble them.
Use two small pieces of transparent tape to create a tube shape with the ornament.
Use a hole punch to create two holes- one on either side of the Nutcracker’s face.
Loop a piece of yarn or ribbon through both holes and tie to create a loop. Your Nutcracker ornament is ready to hang on your Christmas tree! (Without the hanger these would be super cute on a table or mantle too!)
