A Note to my teacher friends...

This is a special edition of my Artists and the Elements course.  I designed this course to provide elementary and middle school kids with an accessible art education option, at home or school. Seven units are designed to build your student’s knowledge of the seven elements of art, introduce art history, and provide step by step instructions for fun, hands on art project!

This edition is different- it’s meant just for you teachers that are planning distance learning lessons and/or sub lessons in this wild time.

Video lessons and PDF’s are FULLY DOWNLOADABLE.  That means after purchase you can use these videos with your own distance learning students without them enrolling in the course.

No videos on my site or in my digital courses have been downloadable before and I’m not sure if I’ll offer this kind of things again. I do know these lessons are easy to follow, require minimal supplies, and provide a quality art experience that your kiddos can do at home!

I want to share these videos with you so you can share them with your own students! We all need a little extra art in this time of uncertainty!

Teach the seven elements....

This elementary art curriculum is built around the seven elements of art.  The elements are the building blocks of art, the basics!

Each element is introduced with a video explanation as well as a hands on video in which your student and I complete the elements of art printables together.

Students will gain vocabulary as well as some technical knowledge that can be applied to all of their future artistic endeavors!

Teaching great artists...

Students will study seven great artists.  Each artist’s work will feature and be connected to an element of art.

Art history will become a fun part of art class through easily accessible resources like links to kid friendly YouTube movies and read alouds of children’s books featuring that artist.

Students will gain experience and confidence writing about writing about art with seven artist response printables.

Seven studio projects taught by me...

Each element of art is connected to a great artist that exemplifies that element in their work.  Each artist then inspires a featured studio project taught in step by step video lessons- by me!

Lessons use basic materials in new and old ways to give your students maximum art experiences with a super minimal supply list!

THE ARTISTS AND THE ELEMENTS AS A ONLINE DIGITAL ART COURSE for teachers….

The full fledged digital course allows me to walk your students through each concept and technique with hands on video lessons.  Lessons are taught by me.

This version of the course is meant specifically for my teacher friends who are busy prepping distance learning or sub lessons. I know you have ideas and I know you adore inspiring your young artists.  But times are different and I know many of you are scrambling for ways to teach from afar.

Normally printables are downloadable for easy printing, videos are not. In this teacher edition the videos are fully downloadable for you to use with all your students.

Purchase allows one single teacher the right to use and distribute these videos for his or her students ONLY.
